For providers

Get listed where California parents are already looking. Every provider on a Regional Center vendor list gets a free listing. Paying buys a fuller profile, a sponsored spot, or a badge — never a better check, a hidden review, or a higher place above a provider that scored better.

Preview only. This page is not live and takes no payment. The rate card below is published in advance so every business in a category sees the same prices before deciding anything. Prices and terms are still waiting on the lawyer’s read. Read the terms.

The free listing, for everyone

Every provider on the Regional Center’s vendor list gets a free listing and the same checks, whether or not they pay. Paying never changes a check, a review, or your place above a better-scoring provider outside the labeled sponsored spots. We charge flat fees; we are never paid per family.

Every free listing gets the same seven checks, published with the date we looked: credential current, no discipline on record, Regional Center vendor status, Medi-Cal plans taken, reachable by phone, openings and wait, and whether what you tell us matches your website. How we do each check is public on How we check.

As of today, no provider has been checked yet. The directory is alphabetical until the checks have been run, and every check shows “Not yet checked.”

Parents never pay for anything on this site, including the text helper. Businesses pay for fuller listings and sponsored spots, and that pays for everything parents see here.

Rate card: verified profile

One flat monthly price per category, set in advance, the same for every business in that category. No price per family, per call, per booking, or per child who starts services. No percentage of what you bill. No “deals” — the price on this page is the price.

Special-education attorneys$199 / month
Special-needs planning attorneys$199 / month
Behavior-therapy agencies$149 / month
Diagnostic evaluation clinics$149 / month
Financial planners with special-needs training$149 / month
Dentists treating kids with disabilities$99 / month
Speech, occupational, and physical therapy clinics$79 / month
Social Security representatives$79 / month
Counselors and psychologists$49 / month
Tax preparers$49 / month
Respite, camps, swim, music, and adaptive sports$19 / month, or free

A verified profile adds photos, a longer description, a contact form, and an openings field you keep current (dated), plus a monthly email showing how many parents viewed your profile and contacted you. Attorneys pay only for advertising: no success fees and no fee splits, ever.

Size tiers (for example, one office versus ten) may be set in advance. What you pay never changes what we check or how you score.

Rate card: sponsored spots

A sponsored spot is labeled placement, nothing more. It never changes a check, removes a review, or moves you above a better-scoring provider outside the labeled sponsored spots.

Los Angeles County$499 / month
San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Bay Area counties$299 / month
Everywhere else in California$149 / month

There are never more than 3 sponsored spots per county, per category. Every sponsored spot says “Sponsored” on the page and in search results, where a parent can see it.

Government agencies — Regional Centers, county offices, and schools — are always free and always outside the sponsored section. They are never paid listings.

Rate card: badge license

About $600 a year. A badge license gives a provider that scores well the right to show its rating badge on its own website and materials. The rating itself is free; displaying it costs money. The exact yearly figure is still to be confirmed before launch.

How paying works

Setup, then monthly. A setup and verification fee comes first, then the flat monthly rate from the card above. The setup fee amount is still to be confirmed before launch. The first 25 providers in each county pay no verification fee, and their rate is locked while they stay.

Cancel in one click. Cancelling is as easy as signing up. There is no cancellation fee and no cancel flow that takes three calls.

Coming back costs more. If you cancel and return later, a re-verification fee applies. The amount is still to be confirmed before launch.

Yearly billing. Yearly billing is offered against monthly billing. Yearly prices are still to be confirmed before launch.

Reminder before renewal. You get the full price schedule before you pay anything, and a reminder before your subscription renews. See Terms for the renewal rules.

No payment is taken on this page today. Payment starts only after the lawyer has reviewed the rate card and the payment provider has approved the account.

Reviews, replies, and corrections

Parents’ reviews sit in their own box, in parents’ own words, dated, and never edited for meaning. Reviews are never paid for, by us or by you, and you may not offer anything for a review. We remove a review only if it threatens someone, names a child or shares private information, is not from a real client, or is about a different provider — and when we remove one, we note that a review was removed and why.

Every provider can reply publicly to a review and to a listing, and can ask for a correction. If anything on your page is wrong, tell us at hello@answersforfamilies.com. We re-check within 5 business days. If we were wrong, we fix the page and note the correction. If we were right, we say what we found.

Full rules: How we check and Terms.

Sponsor the text helper

Sponsors can pay a flat, labeled fee to support the free text helper for parents in a county — for example, “This month’s helper spots are supported by…” The helper spots are not yet sponsored. No sponsor is named on this page yet because there is not one yet.

A sponsor pays for what we deliver to parents. A sponsor never pays for a service the sponsor itself delivers to parents, and nothing a sponsor pays for can buy a recommendation: the helper never names providers.

What we never list

We never list anything marketed as treating autism — supplements, “biomedical” protocols, chelation, detox, hyperbaric oxygen, stem cells, cleanses, or restrictive-diet programs — lab tests sold directly to parents, or travel for autism treatments. A provider whose site markets any of those is not listed. The full rule is in the Terms.
